seeks a cleared and qualified Lead Network Specialist to manage a production environment with automated install, automated build and deployment, automated configuration management, enterprise monitoring systems, server virtualization, load balancing, web servers, and application servers, Microsoft server operating systems and middleware, server configuration and installation, and performance and network monitoring tools.
The successful candidate will possess strong experience in an unclassified and classified enterprise IT environment, operating, maintaining, and updating hardware, software, applications, and security controls.

Responsibilities:
Manages a production environment with automated install, automated build and deployment, automated configuration management, enterprise monitoring systems, server virtualization, load balancing, web servers, and application servers, Microsoft server operating systems and middleware, server configuration and installation, and performance and network monitoring tools Performs operating systems upgrades and migrations Conducts database performance tuning, capacity planning, and bottleneck resolution, administration of Microsoft SQL Server, building and maintaining high-availability, clustered and scalable systems, advanced web technologies ASP.
NET pipeline, load balancing, etc.
Employs stellar oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience and Knowledge:
Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software, routing protocols BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, Layer 2 , and Cisco VSS/VSP Windows and Unix system administration including troubleshooting, monitoring, and support, Windows event and performance monitoring TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and VLANs General network troubleshooting, resource allocation and utilization for large databases, disk configuration, including the maintenance of hardware and software RAID 1-N, database design, data modeling and query execution, database replication, migration, backup, and recovery One or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl) 5 years leading 5 or more employees Holds a current Secret or higher security clearance issued by the Department of Defense with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance Required Education and Certifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree in information technology (computer science, information systems management, network management, software engineering, computer security, etc.
) AND 9 years of directly more responsible information technology experience or 11 years of experience in an information technology discipline Current Security
or other certification meeting the requirements for IAT II and at least one active computing environment certification Link Solutions, Inc.
