BUDGET ANALYST
About the Position:
Program Executive Office Command Control Communications- Tactical, headquartered at APG, MD develops network-centric C3T systems for the digitized Army and fields Joint C3T systems to provide an integrated information system of systems seamlessly linking every sensor, shooter, commander and support to create a common view of the battlefield Provide technical advice and guidance for performance of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES) functions. Formulate annual and multi-year budget estimates and maintain the operating budget for the Project Manager (PM) programs. Direct the execution of annual and multi-year operating budget. Monitor the use and rate of expended funds to prepare requests or decreases in funds. Track commitments, obligations and disbursements for assigned funding. Prepare written reports detailing the status of funds that are obligated. Develop and prepare reports for briefings, conferences and meetings that reflect the budget commitments and mission obligations. Who May Apply:

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:
1) Executing funds according to fiscal law, regulations, policies, and/or procedures for the organization; 2) Monitoring obligation and disbursement of appropriations against approved budget to ensure funding execution; and, 3) Preparing a variety of reports about the status of funds, expenses, and obligations for budget request. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
