LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist, concerned with directing, developing, and performing logistics management operations. Evaluating the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for sustainment of systems, which encompass new and emerging technologies and/or minor fielding requirements. Review the inherent logistics requirements supportability of assigned systems providing comments on requirement documents, test reports, and other key acquisition documents. Provide ILS and/or input to evaluation plans and reports, and develops test design addressing system ILS requirements. Review all requests for supplies, parts and special tools for test support (i.e. stock numbers and manufactures part number). Inspect and inventory equipment, and capable of receiving training to maintain accountability of property through the Defense Property Accountability System and Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-Army). Utilize logistics models to evaluate system suitability. Serve as technical advisor on logistics within organization, ILS, and acquisition communities. Who May Apply:

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:
1) Drafting logistics support documents to aide in the development of System Acquisition strategies; 2) Utilizing aspects of the integrated logistics support process to promote an effective property management system; and, 3) Developing life cycle logistics support initiatives to lower overall life cycle systems cost. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01 or GS-04). OR Education:

Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
