Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes 1.)Interpreting and applying basic laws and regulations and law enforcement operations 2.)Enforcing a wide range of law enforcement activities such as traffic codes and procedures 3.)Performing criminal investigations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). This is a term NTE 13 months may be extended to 5 years, may be made permanent without competition. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
