Software Engineer, Senior
Key Role:
Perform highly complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses. Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems. Review the completion and implementation of technical products and evaluate vendor capabilities. Leverage knowledge of one or more systems, platforms, and programming languages.

Qualifications:
7
years of experience with the Java programming language, including in a college environment
7
years of experience with supporting systems integration and engineering activities throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing
Experience with Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, designing and implementing software to satisfy a given set of requirements, developing Web services and deploying services using applications servers, continuous integration servers, such as Jenkins or Hudson, and with creating new software that leverages existing libraries, APIs, and other resources
Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts on enterprise OSs, including Microsoft Server, Linux, and High Performance Storage Systems (HPSS)
Experience with JavaScript, Eclipse, NetBeans, JUnit, Subversion, Apache Tomcat, REST, Maven, Ant, and a Linux based operating system
Experience with supporting virtualized environments using VMware
TS/SCI clearance required
BA or BS degree in CS or Software Engineering

Qualifications:
Experience with Cloud technologies, including MapReduce, HDFS, Storm, Spark, and Accumulo
Experience in working with small to medium sized technical teams
Experience with writing the technical sections of proposals
Experience with presenting technical materials to senior level audiences
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
