Cost Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Conduct cost, statistical, economic, or quantitative analyses in support of an organization's information, decision, and planning needs. Develop cost or risk analysis and cost models, cost controls, procedures, systems, forecasting, and statistical techniques to evaluate contract and program status, develop cost benefit analysis, conduct analysis of alternatives, develop business cases, and perform other economic analyses while ensuring compliance with government, commercial, and international requirements. Use knowledge of ACEIT software to develop product and program cost estimates. Use knowledge to define the client's requirements, document assumptions, and develop program office estimates (POE), independent government cost estimates (IGCE), and cost ARP package documentation. Review, advise on, and conduct cost, schedule, and contract performance, variance, and risk analysis and prepare appropriate reports. Evaluate the impact on the government, industry, and specific business sectors of an organization, including compliance and regulatory impacts.
Basic
Qualifications:
2
years of experience with cost modeling
Experience with cost estimating, including DoD cost estimation
Experience with DoD acquisition milestones, plans, policy, process, and strategy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Experience with Army Acquisition Center process, procedures, and requirements
Knowledge of LCCE, CARD, Microsoft Excel, OMB E300, or statistical analysis
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and follow through
Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
Ability to successfully work under pressure
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
Experience in building cost models with ACEIT
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
Completion of DAWIA Business Cost Estimator or equivalent courses
Professional Cost Estimator or Analyst Certification
