Leidos is seeking a talented Systems Admin Intern, located in our Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD office.
The ARL-E Intern support project will entail integrating interns into the ARL-E System Integration team. The candidate will then be assigned tasks that are relevant and necessary to the successful execution of Leidos contracts. Leidos will provide the candidate with real world experience and technical and career mentorship throughout the internship, which may result in full-time employment opportunities upon graduation.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, resourceful and reliable to be able to bring new perspectives and ideas to the company, and proactively complete assigned activities on time.
Assist with Cybersecurity requirements: perform system assessments, Risk Management Framework documentation review and remediation of vulnerabilities.
Assist with configuring and maintaining workstations, servers and data storage computer.
Assist with installing and testing software.
Support drafting and reviewing Technical documentation.
The internship provides the candidate with a valuable opportunity to work with a skilled team in a variety of engineering roles.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
The candidate must currently be pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science) and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with VMWare, Network switches and routers
Must have the ability of obtaining a DoD Secret Level Security Clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
