Works in a collegial and collaborative office to analyze financial and other operational information from a variety of sources in order to produce reports, charts, and slides to support decision making within the US Army Public Health Command Animal Health Enterprise which supports the financial, personnel, purchasing, and management function for over 150 military veterinary clinics worldwide.
The selected candidate will join a team that supports the business functions of 150 U.S. Army veterinary clinics spread across the globe. The working environment is fast-paced and constant. Creative, flexible individuals with a passion for helping others succeed and prosper are encouraged to apply.
Work schedule is 40 hours weekly. No weekend, holiday or shift schedules anticipated.

Oversees the command purchasing programs to include ensuring compliance with applicable Purchasing laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance. Serves as Supervisory A/OPC for NAF Government Purchase cards.

Minimum
Qualifications:
At least one year of progressively responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to supervise and mentor employees, maintain detailed records sufficient for external audit and to organize and document processes; apply generally accepted management principles and practices; audit, review, and evaluate financial documents and programs; and use office automation applications (spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, databases, communications).
Knowledge of Financial Management concepts, principles, and processes (budgeting, internal / management controls, cost benefit analysis, statistical analysis, price and rate setting, productivity improvement, performance effectiveness, benchmarking, standards / metrics, etc.).
Knowledge of Acquisition concepts, principles, and processes, internal auditing standards and techniques.
Highly Preferred
Experience:
Possess knowledge of Defense Finance and Accounting Service-Indianapolis (DFAS-IN) Regulation 37-1 _Finance and Accounting_.
Possess knowledge of Army Regulation 215-1 _Military Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Programs and Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities_.
Experience with Army Nonappropriated Fund Government Purchase Card program.
Possess at least 24 hours of accounting and/or auditing coursework. A copy of transcripts must be uploaded to verify completion.
_Conditions of Employment:_
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.

5. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433-1 is required prior to entrance on duty.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
