Foreign Military Sales Field Engineer (PM MC SETA) - APG, MD

Support a broad range of FMS casework being undertaken by the Army's Project Manager for Mission Command. Extensive international TDY is required, as well as coordination/TDY with CECOM's Security Assistance Management Directorate SAMD and the PM MC office at APG.
Essential Job Functions
Assembles briefing packages for meetings with FMS customers.
Plans, coordinates, and provisions FMS fieldings with FMS customers.
Develops and presents coordination briefings for fieldings, Quality Assurance Team activities, and System Sells-off to the FMS customers.
Briefs foreign senior officers on tactical employment of MC products (e.g. the family of Field Artillary Tactical Data Systems (FATDS) computers and software, U.S. Artillery organizations, communications, and Fire Support automation equipment).
At the request of CECOM's Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD), provides Fire Support Command and Control (FSC2), JBC-P or MC expertise at coordination and program management review in the US and oversea.
Reviews FMS Case deliverable technical publication, application and training software, and training materials for CECOM SAMD.
Provides complex technical installation support to field technicians. Responds to, reviews and approves operational quality of system equipment.
Works in conjunction with business development and project team to conducts site surveys of customer sites, identify potential issues, integrate system and plan and designs systems installations.
Resolves highly complex customer application questions or problems regarding system configurations/setup, product functionality and/or debugs enhancements.
Tests user configurations for system compatibility. Documents and provides support; refers issues to ensure that the system is functioning according specifications.
Acts as liaison between project engineer team members, customers and installation team to ensure project is implemented seamlessly.
Maintains relationship with customer post integration and supports their needs to assist in maintaining/building relationship.
Participates in customer training to ensure customer is proficient in system application(s). Provides ongoing support as necessary.
Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred
Six or more years of field or application engineering experience
Experience working with customer technology and support requirements
Experience working with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, et
Experience working with company's hardware, software and equipment products
Experience working with assembly languages such as HTML programming, MySQL, C, C etc
Other Qualifications
Must have hands on experience performing the following tasks, or similar scope FMS work on Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems (AFATDS), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Defense Readiness Reporting System-Army (DRRS-A), Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) or other US DoD products: developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), and Price and Availability (P&A)
