Customer Support Functions
Leads the CHS Network Team in providing CHS lifecycle support to various tactical customers.
Assists with the design and selection of rugged hardware platforms (Operational Transit Cases (OTCs); mounted and dismounted baseband packages: environmentally tested and qualified solutions, etc.) based on high level customer hardware requirements.
Very proficient with the technical function and hardware designs of COTS/Modified COTS Networking platforms (Routers, switches, firewalls, wireless (802.11; 4G etc): and server/storage systems etc.)
Assists with the integration (review/analyze SWAPc) of modified COTS hardware into OTCs, shelters, and tactical vehicles.
Support customer and vendor meetings and teleconferences to provide technical oversight, review of hardware configurations, hardware updates and upgrades, order status, technical insertion status, and End-Of-Life (EOL) notificationschanges.
Perform configuration management (CM) services in support of network hardware platforms.
Create hardware Technical Specification Files, Brand Name Justifications, and Within Scope Memo's for review by the CHS-4 KO.
Defense Industry technical expertise in working with vendors, engineers, PMs, and industry partners to provide cost effective technologies.
Technical Evaluation Functions:
Provide configuration support as per the following: routers, firewalls, switches, voice over IP (VOIP) products (Cisco CUCM/CUCME), servers, clients, storage devices, and wireless systems as per evaluation and demonstration efforts.
Support CHS evaluation project planning and execution, strategic development of the project(s) long and short-term priorities for hardware evaluation, enhancements and provide status of projects.
Develop evaluation demos, proof-of-concept, evaluate hardware and applications, R&D, test new cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, direct development of vendor commercial products and models of both functional and technical processes.
Prepare and present tutorials, demos, and presentations. Develop documentation necessary to demonstrate rugged computer hardware in a virtualized environment.

Candidate must have an active DoD secret clearance, with a valid drivers license
Incumbent must have experience in the C5ISR acquisition arena; most specifically understands the Army's Tactical Network and Mission Command portfolio of tactical systems.
Must have acquisition program experience, preferably knowledge of PM WIN-T.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of Networking equipment to include Routers, Switches, Firewalls, servers, wireless, etc.
Education/Certifications Requirements
Bachelor Degree (IT Industry or computer field) with minimum 5 years experience
MilitaryTactical experience preferred.
Certifications preferred (A+, Network +, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), NetApp, Brocade, Juniper, VMware, Linux: etc.)EOE Minority/Female/Disabiled/Veteran
