About the Position:
The USAMRICD is the lead laboratory within the Department of Defense for medical chemical defense. The USAMRICD conducts basic and applied research on mechanism of action for chemical warfare (CW) threat agents, toxic industrial chemicals (TICS), and toxins of biological origin. Develops candidate pretreatment, prophylactic, and treatment compounds to establish a scientific and technical base from which to plan and formulate enhanced medical countermeasures.
