Logistics Management Specialist (Job Number:402991)
Description:
Provide support to a US Army Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) project. Work will include developing criteria to determine whether aparticular CECOM weapon system is a candidate for CBM, gathering and analyzing system data (engineering and maintenance) to support system selection recommendations. Additional work will include developing product structures and equipment records based on available engineering data, identifying and loading historical maintenance and performance data into the CECOM Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (ePLM) system and supporting analysis of historical performance data to develop CBM heuristics.
Additional activities may include the following:
Performs logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a CBM
weapons systems
Advise and consult to project management and team on matters of logistics policy and procedures, logistics automation, system architecture, integration and interfaces
Develop criteria, methods,techniques and procedures as it relates to the software development life cycle.
Schedule development, testcriteria, functional descriptions, data dictionary development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) and 5
years of experience.
Required Skills:
Experience planning, coordinating and evaluating logistic concepts to support condition-based maintenance.
Knowledge of Army logistics policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Army logistics architectures, data standardsand data interfaces.
Experience defining product structures.
Experience with reliability concepts such as RCM and FMECA.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of CECOM weapons systems.
Knowledge of DoDAF guidelines fordata architecture.
Knowledge of Army Bulk CBM Data Standards.
Experience with Windchill Product Data Manager
