Overview:
This position will serve as a lead analyst for integration of Air Surveillance and Air Defense operations and procedures in support of the Joint Feasibility Test Director for the Joint-Surveillance and National Capital Region (NCR) Advanced Engagement Probabilities (J-SNAP) program. Individual will be responsible development of test venues and methodology for integration of air surveillance assets capabilities and processes including those currently employed in support of the CONR - 1AF/ARFNORTH Homeland Air Defense Mission into the products developed and delivered to meet the warfighter objectives and as directed by both the TD and J-SNAP Charter. The goal of the JFS is to establish validate and deliver a clearly articulate program master plan and test process to the JFS Director to ensure charting of the J-SNAP Joint Test

Job Description:
Work directly with senior leadership and technical teams and be accountable for all aspects of test, including but not limited to test execution and planning, status and reporting, leadership and management of teams, test readiness reviews,
Must have a proven track record of strong leadership, managing projects, balancing and tracking multiple work streams of large/complex projects across and enterprise through entire lifecycle.
Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts
Develop test strategies and document test procedures.
Write efficient test plans and test cases that exercise all logic paths;
Responsible for developing and executing functional test plans and functional test scripts based upon use case documentation;
Developing and maintaining the test engineering processes;
Interact with Requirements Analyst and Developers to create test scripts according to system functional requirements
Set up test environment needed to execute test scripts;
Design and implement test metrics
Inspires and motivates team to accomplish goals
Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills; and
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.

Required Education and Experience

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or other related discipline, OR 8 yrs. equivalent work experience; AND
5 yrs. experience writing test plans and test cases;
5 yrs. experience in setting up testing environments
Knowledge of best practices and testing methodologies and techniques
AWACS / Air Defense Sector experience or understanding, previous experience working with advanced sensors contributing to cruise missile defense
Experience in formal DoD developmental test or operational test

Preferred
AEGIS or E2 experience
USAF Weapons School Graduate or USN Fighter Weapons School Graduate
Combat veteran
Experience in the Joint Test and Evaluation Environment
Experience working with NORAD.
Experience working with DoD Test Exercise Communities.
Experience in Modeling and Simulation (M&S)

Clearance
Must have DoD Secret Clearance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
