We are seeking a Senior Engineer to work at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.

Perform application management to include research, testing / debugging, performance validation, quality control, and deploymentResearch new technologies in communicationPerform analysis and reverse engineering of state of the art sensing electronics Develop manufacturing processes and product introductionPerform investigation, evaluation, and application of new technologies

Education/Experience Required:
MA/MS and 10yrs experience - Basic requirement or - BA/BS plus 8yrs experience added to the base 10yrs requirement - NOTE:
Bachelor's degree plus 8yrs experience is the equivalent to a Master's degree - (No degree) plus 12yrs experience added to the basic 10yrs requirement - NOTE:
12yrs experience is the equivalent to a Master's degreeDegree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or similar fieldRequired Skills:
Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or similar fieldAbility to analyze, dissect state of the art circuitry to component level, and produce technical reportsExperience with modern communication modulation formats and protocolsExperience in Schematic circuit analysis, capture, and Layout, Altium preferredExperience with Arduino integration and firmware extraction via SPI interfaceSome experience in Assembly Language , C/C+
programming, Matlab, Labview, Python, C/C++, and basic scriptingExperience with RF circuitry simulation, network analysis, and predictive modelingKnowledge of Transmitter and Receiver designsExperience with Spread Spectrum related technologies - like OFDM, WCDMA, and LORAWorking knowledge of Antennas and their implementation on transmitters and receiversDesired Skills:
Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems/Remote Piloted VehiclesExperience with electronics, computer architecture (on a processor level (assembly language) memory allocation/addressing)), System on a Chip (SoC), Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, and sensing circuitsExperience with tools/skill sets to include:
Software Defined Radios (RTL-SDR, HackRF or the like), RFID analysis, Near-field communication (NFC) analysisActive TS/SCI clearance.

$101,000 Colorado Salary Maximum:
$245,100 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
