Position SummarySURVICE Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer that will support our US Army Research Laboratory customer in the concept, design, analysis, prototype fabrication, and evaluation of electronic assemblies for weapons applications.
Support requirements include designing and implementing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for gun-launched smart munitions technologies or for other ground- or flight-vehicle applications.
You will interact with mathematicians, aerospace engineers, control systems engineers, and physicists to implement new, high-performance algorithms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Use modern printed circuit board (PCB) design tools and analysis software such as Altium DesignerRecommend specifications; select components; design circuits; capture schematics; layout PCBs; and assemble high-density power, analog, and radio-frequency (RF) electronics designed for gun-launched flight hardwareDesign and assemble ground support equipment, test fixtures for validation, and production calibration fixtures for circuit boards and subassembliesCreatively brainstorm with others during initial concept stage when design requirements are only loosely definedDesign RF circuits for use in telemetry and radio links to include characterization of RF components such as filters, amplifiers, and transmission linesGuide technicians in the assembly and population of PCBs for gun-launched weapons conceptsQualifications At least a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience.
Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design softwareExperience in hardware and software development for both embedded processors and high-speed Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)Experience designing mixed-signal electronics to include power, digital, analog, and RFKnowledge of PCB manufacturing and population methodsAbout UsSURVICE Engineering is a nationally recognized, single-source engineering service provider for Government and Industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
