Overview By Light Professional IT Services (By Light) is looking for motivated and qualified professionals to support the US Army Futures Command (AFC), Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center, Intelligence, and Information Warfare Directorate's (I2WD) Operations Division Network Branch located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
Requirements includes communication and systems support, information assurance, automation, computer network, telephone control, support for software development and integration, procurement and inventory support to the C5ISR Center and their tenant organizations.

Responsibilities Supports engineering efforts that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
Offers recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
Provide support for C5ISR Center internal and external networks necessary to deliver electronic information.
Provide network management of various types of Local Area Networks (LANs), Campus Area Networks (CANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
Manage connections to external networks, to include:
Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), Defense Research Engineering Network (DREN), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), National Security Agency Network (NSA), and laboratory networks.
Configure, implement, and maintain Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) for remote connections in support of C5ISR CENTER and their tenants.
Plan and manage the expansion of all C5ISR Center networks to include any network expansion and non-attributable capabilities and ensure cybersecurity compliance requirements are met.
Provide recommendations on network infrastructure efficiencies and ways in which to utilize emerging technology.
Restore and or coordinate critical network services in the event of a disaster.
Develop Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs).
Plan and communicate downtime for necessary network maintenance.
Ensure 24x7 availability of C5ISR Center unclassified and classified business networks less scheduled downtime.
Required Experience/Qualifications Minimum
Experience:
8 Years or no degree, actively working toward 4 year BS/BA (60 credits) and 20 years experience.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, or a AS/AA with 10 years of experience; or a BA in a relevant technical area with 8 years of experience.
Certifications:
Security+; Microsoft Certification Windows Server 2012; and MCP.
Demonstrated ability in related engineering discipline.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications Supported the US Army or other Federal Agency.
Has the communication skills to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance Security Clearance:
Top Secret/SCI Position requires proof of Covid-19 full vaccination status or qualified exemptions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
