10-25%Position SummarySURVICE Engineering is currently seeking Software Engineers/ Scientists to support our US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) customer in the development of software for unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoding of developed research algorithmsSoftware management of UAS platformsContributing to collaborative coding projects Testing of software on live aerial robotic systemsTeamed with researchers, perform experiments (both in the laboratory and in realistic sim environments) to evaluate algorithm performance as well as contribute to robotic demonstrationsIntegrate algorithms on individual and teams of robots and evaluate the quality of performance of the desired behaviorsPrepare and present briefings to the ARL staff, universities, private corporations, research institutes, national laboratories, or other Government research centersQualificationsBachelors degree in Robotics/Software Engineering or Computer Science and at least 3 years of experienceExperience/specialization in algorithm implementation, proof-of-concept demonstration, and performance evaluation of robotic behaviors on individual and teams of aerial and ground robotic platformsStrong C/C++, C#, and Python skills Experience with Desktop and command-line LinuxExperience with Git, version control, and team-based software developmentProgramming/scripting with the Robot Operating Systems (ROS) Programming of microcontrollers or embedded systems (eg, Pixhawk, Arduino, Qualcomm, Raspberry Pi, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
